«How to Develop a Data Management Plan for a European Project»
Nadia Tonello (Head of Data Management, Barcelona Supercomputing Center) holds a PhD in Physics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), with research work in Particle Astrophysics carried out at the Max-Planck-Institut für Physik in Munich (Germany). She has a specialization in Big Data, and experience as a Data Scientist and as a trainer in scientific data management. Since September 2018, she leads the Data Management group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – National Supercomputing Center (BSC).
In this talk, he will explain the keys to developing an effective Data Management Plan in the context of European projects, offering tools and practical advice to solve the most common challenges faced by researchers when preparing this section of their proposals and during the execution of the project. We will address the fundamental concepts of the FAIR principles and good practices that allow ensuring the quality and accessibility of research data.
