This cycle of clinical sessions aims to provide participants with the fundamental elements to actively participate in a research project as well as establish a lasting communication link over time of collaboration between the IACS Methodological and Statistical Support Service (SAME) and centers to develop research initiatives.
Health professionals, and/or from the biomedical field and health sciences, recognized as a health profession who begin their research work: (graduates and degrees in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Psychology...), as well as those specialists in health sciences by residency system of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Radiophysics.
Given the basic and introductory nature of the contents, we propose that they also be accredited for professions in higher training cycles in the Health Area.
Provide participants with the theoretical, methodological and practical elements that allow them to develop a research protocol.
Show researchers and HEALTH professionals mechanisms for searching, retrieving and storing biomedical information from different sources of biomedical information.
Transmit to participants the fundamental principles of the design and analysis of the main types of research study and when to apply it. Definition of the study variables, measurement and design of a database.
Provide participants with updated information on ethical aspects of the Research: standard work procedures, ethical evaluation criteria, how to proceed to obtain CEICA authorization.
