19 July 2024Through this call, the opportunity is given to those research groups whose studies are too ambitious to be undertaken by a single team to form a group of 2 to 4 principal investigators (PIs), among whom there will be a corresponding PI. (cIP), to work together and bring different skills and resources to the research.
Candidates may submit applications in any field of research, and will be evaluated based only on scientific excellence and the synergistic effect they may have.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants will be able to:
- Be seniors and present your ten-year history.
- Be at the beginning of your research career and present a history of early achievements.
- Have one PI per group that is located in an institution outside the EU or associated countries.
Applicants must:
- Present a proposal with scientific excellence.
- Be part of a group composed of a minimum of two and a maximum of four innovative and active IPs and, as necessary, their teams.
- Dedicate a minimum of 30% of your working time to the ERC project and a minimum of 50% of your working time in the EU or an associated country, with the exception of a PI hosted or contracted by an institution outside of the EU or an associated country (see Program ERC Work Program 2025).
