4D PICTURE Project
The project 4D PICTURE, funded at European level, has as its main objective Improve shared decision-making in oncology through person-centered solutions, transforming the healthcare model toward a more humane, comprehensive, and tailored care to the real needs of patients. In Zaragoza, this is achieved thanks to the collaboration between the Aragón Health Research Institute (IIS Aragón), the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR) y FRACTAL.
4D PICTURE continues to develop innovative strategies to bring the healthcare system closer to people, placing their experience and participation at the center of care. The project is currently in its second phase, which involves the redesign of the oncology service. During the first phase, a thorough exploration of the service's current operations was conducted.
Based on the findings obtained, at this stage we are working together with healthcare professionals from the oncology service and with patients affected by breast cancer and melanoma, to develop possible improvements that can be implemented in the HUMS oncology service with the aim of improving the patient experience in the service and facilitating more shared decision-making.
Any patient who meets the above criteria and is interested in participating in the patient-oriented workshops is invited to contact us via email: albamedina.miguelservet@gmail.com
