To carry out this initiative, the City Council made two giant tortillas on site in the town's Plaza del Torico. Once finished, sandwiches were made with them and the neighbors who wanted to contribute to the cause donated the amount they deemed appropriate in a piggy bank (the minimum amount is €2).
