1 December, 2025The Ramiro Soláns Primary School will receive the Diploma of Recognition for Services to Aragon. Both awards will be presented on December 20th, the Day of the Justice of Aragon, as part of the events honoring Justice Juan de Lanuza V.
Alberto Jimenez Schuhmacher, researcher at the Aragonese Agency for Research and Development (ARAID) and head of the Molecular Oncology group at the Aragon Health Research Institute, will receive the Justice of Aragon Medal 2025 for his outstanding scientific work, his firm commitment to health, his outreach work and his constant defense of science and education as drivers of societal progress.
In its resolution, the justice of AragonConcepción Gimeno, It highlights his contributions to oncology, which include the generation of models for the study of multiple types of cancer, the study of the tumor microenvironment and the development of new tools based on nanoantibodies to support the diagnosis and treatment of the most lethal tumors, as well as in the study of low prevalence diseases known as rasopathies.
The institution has pointed out that, in addition to its scientific excellence, it also possesses a firm and constant commitment to the people affected by these pathologies and their familieshighlighting his approachability, his involvement in support initiatives, and his dedication to the dissemination of biomedical knowledge.
The Aragonese justice system has also granted The Diploma of Recognition of Services to Aragon to the CEIP Ramiro Soláns of Zaragoza in recognition of its extraordinary contribution to education, its outstanding social impact, its transformative capacity and its firm commitment to the values of social justice, equity and inclusion.

History of the distinctions
