November 11, 2024This year the conferences, Organized by the Network of Clinical Research Management Entities (REGIC), they have been held in Barcelona and the IIS Aragón is once again participating in this important event.
Each edition REGIC organizes these Annual Conferences, which address current issues in biomedical research, in a different city, with Zaragoza as the protagonist of the last edition. This 2024, Barcelona take over s el Sant Pau Modernist Site el Thursday 7th and Friday 8th NovemberThe sessions are aimed at both members and external entities related to health research and innovation.
The first day was attended by several members of the IIS Aragón, such as Eva Lopez Hernandez, Coordinator of the Clinical Research Unit, being the moderator in the Round table “Clinical research in primary care” and carrying out the Workshop 4: European Regulation on Clinical Trials: generalities, data management, monitoring and presentation of trials via CTISIn total, 5 workshops have been held, dealing with key aspects of clinical research.
An important meeting in which the IIS Aragón has participated very actively. Yesterday, Eva López, coordinator of the Clinical Research Unit of the IIS Aragón, moderated the panel “Clinical research in primary care” and also gave an interesting workshop on “European Regulation of Clinical Trials: generalities, data management, monitoring and presentation of trials via CTIS” whose conclusions were presented in the afternoon by Pablo Serrano, manager-monitor of Clinical Trials at our Institute.
Rafael Continente, from the Innovation and CSR Unit of the IIS Aragón, conducted a workshop on “Easy innovation with patients and citizens in the health field”. In addition, Francisco Galve from the Legal-Economic Unit of the IIS Aragón, coordinator of the REGIC Training Commission, moderated the conclusions of the parallel workshops.
The second and last day addressed topics such as: Challenges and opportunities for research centres and Challenges in the future of clinical research, as well as celebrating the closing of the conference.
REGIC is the first association of clinical research management entities created in Spain at the request of professionals, in order to share experiences and create a space for interaction and training in the management of health R&D&I, and, as a whole, it represents a large part of the clinical research of the country, with representatives from practically all communities.
