On October 17, at the Miguel Servet University Hospital, a debate table will take place in which the search for humanization in the care of Mental Health patients will be discussed.
«What do you think needs to be done to improve the Mental Health patient experience?«, with this question to be resolved, the next discussion table of the program 'The Protagonist Patient' begins. This debate table, organized by the IIS Aragón, has the participation of numerous entities (Afda, Arbada, Asapme, Paso a Paso Aragón, Toc Zaragoza and the Aragonese Health Service) and hospital professionals to talk
on search for humanization in the care of Mental Health patients.
This event will take place on October 17 in classroom 2 of the Teaching Building of the Miguel Servet University Hospital, from 12:30 to 14:30 p.m.. In addition, this initiative has the collaboration of the “La Caixa” Foundation and the Mémora Fundación.

The protagonist patient
This great project focuses on improve patient experience through dialogue between patient associations and professionals specialized in a specific pathology. Each month a pathology is selected specific and carried out a dialogue table which lasts approximately two hours. During this table, we analyze how to improve medical care from a perspective focused on humanization.
The requests and proposals generated in these sessions are subject to a prioritization process, and at least one of them is carried out thanks to the joint effort of professionals and with the support of various sponsoring entities. These sponsoring entities may include foundations, medical technology companies, and pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, sponsors are invited to participate first-hand in these sessions to hear directly the needs expressed by participants.
