Last Sunday, June 18, part of the IIS Aragón team was supporting the 'March against Cancer' in Zaragoza, organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
More than 2.200 people joined this cause, in the eighth edition of the test in the city, which ran five kilometers non-competitively with participants of all ages.
A green wave of solidarity that filled a large part of Zaragoza and contributed to the fight against this disease. Precisely, The funds obtained in this march will be allocated entirely to the programs and activities carried out by the Spanish Association Against Cancer., such as comprehensive support for people with cancer and their families, prevention and research actions, among others.
According to the AECC, one in two men and one in three women will develop the disease during their lifetime. In Aragon, the Spanish Association Against Cancer has budgeted in the three provinces an amount exceeding one million euros that will be allocated to cancer research, explained the director of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Aragon, Patxi García.
