New scientific director of the Aragon Health Research Institute (IIS Aragon)
20 January 2026The initiative, organized by the Endometriosis Strategy Group of Aragon, will be held on February 25th at the Miguel Servet University Hospital and will address the disease from a comprehensive perspective.
The Aragon Endometriosis Strategy Group (GEEA) organizes the First Conference for Patients and Families “Living with Endometriosis. Connecting Experiences for Comprehensive Health”A meeting aimed at people with endometriosis and their close circle will take place next February 25, 16 am to 30 am, In the classrooms of the Teaching Building of the Miguel Servet University Hospital.
The event was created to offer a space for information, listening, and support, addressing endometriosis from a multidisciplinary perspective that combines health education with physical and emotional well-being. The program includes informative talks, a discussion forum, and various practical workshops focused on self-care and holistic health.
Following the reception and welcome, the meeting will officially open at 16:45 p.m. From 17:00 p.m. onwards, several talks will take place focusing on the Physiotherapeutic approach to endometriosis through physical exercise, led by Beatriz Sierra, a physiotherapist specializing in urogynecology and pelvic floor, and in the Healthy nutritionThe sessions will be led by Lucía López, a dietitian specializing in digestive and women's health. These presentations will be moderated by Beatriz, María, and Daniel, and will be followed by a discussion open to the attendees.
Starting at 18:45 p.m., a series of practical workshops will take place, including proposals such as Biodanza with music and movement, Yoga focused on breath and awareness, Mindfulness focused on self-care and a specific workshop for feeling and understanding the pelvic floorAll activities will be led by healthcare professionals and specialists in each discipline.
The event is organized in collaboration with ADAENA y The Patient Protagonist, and is part of the IIS Aragón's commitment to research, dissemination and improving the quality of life of people living with chronic diseases, promoting initiatives that place patients and their families at the center of the care process.
