First call for POCTEFA projects 2021-2027

2 May 2023- Ibercaja Patio de la Infanta hosts the I Dissemination Cycle IIS Aragón, Health and Science Conferences, with an agile presentation format, with the participation of different actors in the health field and with interaction between speakers and the public
Since March 29, Ibercaja Patio de la Infanta has hosted the I Dissemination Cycle IIS Aragón, Health and Science Conferences, organized by the Aragón Health Research Institute (IIS Aragón), which will be held from March to December 2023. This is a scientific dissemination activity that aims to convey to citizens different research projects and tools developed by scientists. and scientists from IIS Aragón who help improve the health of different groups of patients and social-health professionals.
The first session, on March 29, was designed from the IIS Aragón Research Program “Public Health, Chronicity, Health Services and Primary Care” and was titled 'Innovation also in Primary Health Care'. Innovative proposals were presented to address different problems, such as intervention based on or mindfulness through immersive virtual reality to promote mental health, or the 'MINDxYOU' program, aimed at health professionals to reduce stress and improve mental health through or mindfulness, compassion and acceptance. Other initiatives related to the application of ICT in the control of overweight and obese patients in Primary Care, an app to improve the quality of life in people with persistent COVID and another mobile health application for transporters, called ' Cristóbal Project'.
The event on April 26, already held and which was attended by Counselor Sira Repollés, and that on May 10 have also been designed by the Public Health, Chronicity, Health Services and Primary Care Program, and are titled ' Community research, research with society' and 'Open Science Day in Primary Care: new evidence', respectively.
For its part, on June 14, the strategic approach of the IIS Aragón will be addressed, transversal to its six Programs and its 104 research groups, of incorporating citizens and patients in the co-design of research projects and innovation, proposing solutions, and making decisions, together with the Institute's research and innovation teams.
After the summer, the Research and Innovation Program in nursing and health care will take over. The 'Citizens in Science: Impact Project' conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 27. Bringing nursing research closer to the population', while on October 18 it will be the turn of 'Nurses in science. Situation, projects and patients that inspire: Bringing research closer to the front line of health care'.
The last two days of the cycle, which will be held in November and December, are based on the Technologies and Innovation Program applied to health and the Program on Immunity, cancer and diseases of infectious origin or molecular basis with the sessions “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Biomedicine” and “Society and research: mothers and fathers participating in the advances in research on long-term cardiovascular risk.”
Each of the eight sessions that make up the cycle is presented in the form of small and enjoyable informative pills for the general public by health researchers and different agents who work in the field of health, with space for debate and interaction with the audience.
Registration for each of the sessions is carried out through the Patio de la Infanta platform of Ibercaja and the link to the registration form will be available on the IIS Aragón website.
