November 29, 2024The purpose of this call is to promote the development of young neuroscientists in the field of multiple sclerosis by facilitating the performance and training in basic, clinical or applied research related to the disease.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have a doctorate/or equivalent degree before the start of the scholarship.
- Complete research training in a European laboratory or clinic.
- Not having worked in any position at the same institution and/or under the same mentor proposed in the scholarship application.
- Applicants are recommended to have no more than five years of postdoctoral experience at the time of application.
- Be under 40 years of age at the time of application. Exceptions will be considered under justified special circumstances.
- Applicants and their mentors must confirm that there are no language barriers that would prevent training.
Application
The application must be made through the application form, attaching the following documentation:
- abstract.
- CV of the candidate.
- Project description.
- Candidate's future plan.
- Certification of the local language of the training location.
Additional documentation to be sent to the ECTRIMS Secretariat (secretariat@ectrims.eu) by their respective authors:
- Proposed mentor:
- Mentor's CV.
- Letter of support.
- Host Institution:
- Letter of support from the head of department.
- Certification from the institution accepting the terms of the scholarship and ECTRIMS payments.
- Other supports:
- At least three letters of support from professionals familiar with the proposed candidate, from his/her home institution or elsewhere.
- Letter from the home institution (if applicable).
