Researchers from I3A and IIS Aragón seek to improve the fertility of childhood cancer survivors

On April 3, Zaragoza will host the award ceremony for research aid for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). An event in which, in addition to delivering said aid, the renewal and replacement of the position of the Provincial President of the Association will also be carried out.
Among the beneficiaries of this aid are eight researchers from the Aragón Health Research Institute (IIS Aragón). On the one hand, they will receive aid Patricia Sancho and Alba Royo y Navarro Flower, researchers from the Metabolism and Tumor Stem Cells Group. Likewise, aid will be granted to other IIS Aragón researchers such as Noelia Mendoza (Molecular Oncology Group), Cecilia Pesini (Cell Death, Inflammation, Immunity and Cancer Group), Juan Ignacio Aguilo (Mycobacterial Genetics Group), Maria del Pilar Duque (Cancer Gene and Cell Therapy Group) and Ismael Perise Badía (TME Lab Group).
The day will include a round table on cancer research featuring some of the awarded researchers, as well as different testimonials from patients, volunteers and researchers. The event will take place at Joaquín Roncal Center from the CAI Foundation at 18: 00h.
