ARAID launches a new call to hire up to eight researchers
October 21, 2020This call aims to assign the spaces of the Aragón Health Research Institute (hereinafter, IIS Aragón) at the Lozano Blesa University Clinical Hospital (hereinafter, HCULB) for the development of research/innovation projects in the scope of the IIS Aragón.
Research/innovation projects must meet the following requirements:
- They must be translational in nature and applied to the hospital environment. In this sense, interdisciplinary projects that include clinical researchers from different areas of the Hospital with basic, engineering or technological researchers will be prioritized.
- They must have financing, managed by the IIS Aragón, for their development in the HCULB spaces.
- They must have a minimum duration of 24 months.
- It is essential to justify the need to implement the project in the hospital setting.
The research team must meet the following requirements:
Means research team to the group of people who will develop the research/innovation project. The research team must be led by a Principal Investigator (PI) who will act as the responsible researcher and applicant for this call. The PI must be the Principal Investigator, or person from the group to whom he or she expressly delegates, of an IIS Aragón group. At least the research team must consist of three members.
The research team must comply with the following points:
- At least 50% of the team members who make the request must be assigned to IIS Aragón. Those who are not enrolled must register later in order to access hospital facilities.
- They must develop their research work in the biomedical field, preferably in lines of research where translation is relevant.
Submission of applications
Applications must be sent through the electronic form provided for this purpose in the virtual office of the IIS Aragón website. The application template that can be downloaded from the form will be used.
