12 June, 2024The objective is to call for subsidies for the hiring of predoctoral research personnel in training, under the modality of predoctoral contracts for the period 2024-2028.
The grants will have a maximum duration of four years. However, when the doctoral degree has been obtained prior to the conclusion of the maximum contracting period, the subsidy will end on the last day of the month in which the doctoral thesis is defended.
Predoctoral contracts will have an annual duration, extendable for equal periods of time up to a maximum of four years including extensions and with full-time dedication. The duration of the contract will be linked to permanence in the doctoral program.
Candidate Requirements:
- Have completed the official studies of a Bachelor's Degree, Architecture, Engineering, Degree, Diploma, Technical Engineering or Technical Architecture, or equivalent in foreign University systems not adapted to the EHEA, in January 2020 or later and always before the end of the data contribution period and documentation by predoctoral research staff in training on the PIP platform.
- Having completed at least 60 ECTS credits of a university master's degree (certified by the unit responsible for the center that teaches the master's degree) or having completed the studies of a university master's degree or equivalent when necessary to achieve the required 300 ECTS credits, on the end date of the period for providing data and documentation by predoctoral research staff in training on the PIP platform (July 31, 2024). Said master's degree must have been completed after obtaining the university degree that gives access to the doctorate. The date of completion of studies for all purposes will be the one stated as such in the corresponding certificate.
- Be already enrolled in a doctoral school of the universities that carry out their activity in Aragon, or admitted or pre-admitted in a doctoral program of said universities from the course that begins in the year of publication of the call, and must be enrolled in the moment of formalization of the contract.
- Have a weighted average grade equal to or greater than 6 (on a scale of 0 to 10) in the complete academic record corresponding to the studies that lead to access to a doctoral program.
- Not possess a doctorate degree.
- Not be a beneficiary or have enjoyed aid, nor signed a predoctoral contract.
- Have legal residence in Spain.
Requirements of the director, and if applicable co-director, of the research:
- Possess a doctorate degree.
- Be linked by employment or by statute with the requesting center or organization. If the employment relationship is not permanent, the application must include a co-director who has such status.
- You can only appear as a director or co-director in an application.
