September 5, 2025The Cuenca Villoro Foundation presents the 2025 Call for Grants for Unpublished Research Projects with the aim of recognizing and helping to promote initiatives for research groups in the field of oncology.

The aid will last for 2 years from the signing of the agreement.
This grant is provided with a maximum gross amount of 50.000 euros over two years, with a maximum gross amount of 25.000 euros per year, distributed 60% in the first year and 40% in the second year.
Requirements:
The principal investigator applying for this call must:
- Hold a doctorate degree
- Must be employed, statutory, or civil servant-affiliated with a public or private non-profit entity capable of conducting scientific research in Spain; this relationship must be maintained for the duration of the proposed project (only research staff assigned to public or private non-profit centers based in Aragon may be eligible for these grants).
- The Principal Investigator applicant must have at least 5 research articles published or accepted for publication as first author (or co-first) or last author on the topic of that call, published in an international journal in the last 5 years.
- Groups that have previously been beneficiaries of the Cuenca Villoro Foundation Research Project Grants in previous calls will not be able to participate until 4 years after the grant was awarded (includes all members of the research team and their line of work).
