They have been installed on Don Jaime I street, next to Plaza de la Seo, in the Sasera roundabout, in Plaza de San Francisco and in the Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta.
Eight pink containers installed in some of the most emblematic points of Zaragoza will convert recycled glass into donations to the Sandra Ibarra Foundation to continue researching to combat breast cancer.
The campaign, which coincides with World Breast Cancer Day (October 19), is promoted by Ecovidrio and is in its fourth edition this year, although it is the first time it has arrived in the Aragonese capital, where four pairs of Pink 'igloos' that symbolize female breasts on Don Jaime I Street, next to Plaza de la Seo, in the Sasera roundabout, in Plaza de San Francisco and in the Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta.
Representing Ecovidrio, Óskar Acedo has highlighted that the campaign is above all about image, to also take advantage of the advertising of these original pink containers.
The amount to donate is already closed and will be 6.500 euros plus what is raised from the sale of special 'minigloos', designed by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, which can be purchased through the website miniglu.es.
In total, the campaign has spread to more than 80 Spanish cities such as Madrid, Seville, Santander and Palma de Mallorca, with a total of 340 containers.
For her part, the municipal councilor for Public Services and Mobility, Natalia Chueca, has supported this "excellent" Ecovidrio initiative and has encouraged the people of Zaragoza to carry out two good actions in one: recycle and contribute to a charitable cause such as the fight against breast cancer.
