SAMCA Chair, IV Multidisciplinary Innovation Award

The SAMCA Chair of Technological Development of Aragon announces its IV Multidisciplinary Innovation Award, endowed with €5.000 and a commemorative sculpture. Additionally, the winning project will receive, during the year after the award is granted, an additional aid of €3.000 to support its development.

The Multidisciplinary Innovation Award wants to recognize those innovation projects in which the multidisciplinary nature is the most relevant asset. In this sense, multidisciplinarity will be considered as the characteristic that includes in a project the outstanding activity of at least two of the following macro-areas of knowledge: Humanities, Social, Engineering, Sciences, Biomedical and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). as a large macro cross-sectional area.

Individuals or legal entities whose R&D&I projects meet the following conditions may apply for the Prize:

• A project carried out or in development in any field of science and technology with an eminently multidisciplinary character.
• The project must have a clear vocation to reach society through its transfer to the economic or social environment.

The Jury will take into consideration, therefore, the impact of the project in terms of improving people's quality of life, economic growth, job creation and contribution to the progress of society, particularly Aragonese society.

Nominations can be submitted until July 31, 2023.
