Cadiz welcomes 300 participants this Thursday to the largest meeting of health research managers in the country

It will take place on October 1st and 2nd at the Conference Center and hopes to surpass the 270 professionals of the last edition

The Cadiz Conference Centre will host the Annual Conference of the Network of Clinical, Hospital and Biosanitary Research Management Entities (REGIC) on October 1 and 2, with expectations of receiving more than 300 registered professionals, making it the largest edition held to date, exceeding the 270 registrations of the previous edition held in Vigo.

This "success" in the call for applications responds to the need to professionalize management in order to expedite science and generate a direct impact on the health of citizens, as the Board has indicated in a statement.

Among the underlying themes will be the strategic value of data in clinical research and the deployment of European Health Data Spaces, a highly topical area for building secure, interoperable and collaborative institutional models.

This year's conference is co-organized with the Biomedical Research Institute of Cádiz (Inibica), belonging to the Ministry of the Presidency, Health and Emergencies of the Andalusian Regional Government.

The summit is being held in line with the policies of the European Commission and its ERA Action initiative, which explicitly recognizes management staff as a strategic and fundamental group for development, competitiveness and knowledge transfer in the R&D&I system.
