12 March, 2025Through this call, 30 postdoctoral scholarships will be awarded to carry out research work at universities and research centers abroad, on topics that fall into one of the following areas:
- Agriculture and Livestock.
- Marine sciences.
- Health Sciences.
- Food technology.
The grant includes a 3.100 euro allowance for transfers and installation, health and accident insurance, and a monthly allowance of between 2.000 and 3.400 euros, depending on the country of destination.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have Spanish nationality.
- Possess a doctorate from any Spanish university or specialise in Medicine (MIR), Biology (BIR), Pharmacy (FIR), Psychology (PIR), Chemistry (QIR) or Hospital Radiophysics (RFIR) by the end of September 2025. In the case of having a degree from a foreign university, proof must be provided of the validation or recognition of your degree in Spain.
- Be admitted to a university or research center abroad for the requested period.
- Have a good knowledge of the language of the host country or any other language that allows for fluid communication at the research center.
- Not having enjoyed, prior to the start date of the requested stay (January, February or March 2026), any other scholarship, grant or contract, lasting more than 12 months abroad, of a postdoctoral nature or after obtaining the specialty.
Application
The application must be made through the application link, attaching the following documentation:
- Brief CV.
- Responsible declaration.
- Master's academic record.
- National identity document.
- Report on the research to be carried out.
- Proof of admission to a university or research center abroad for the requested period.
- Academic record of undergraduate/bachelor's degree showing the grades for all courses.
- Doctorate degree or foreign degree approved or recognized in Spain.
- Title of the specialty or justification of having passed the MIR, BIR, FIR, PIR, QIR or RFIR training period.
- Two letters of reference in support of your application, from relevant persons with whom the candidate has studied.
- Certification of knowledge of the foreign language presented for admission to the university or research center. Failing this, a statement of responsibility for mastering the corresponding language at the appropriate level to conduct the research.
