13 July 2026The Ramón Areces Foundation, in collaboration with the Ragon Institute of Mass General Brigham, MIT and Harvard, has opened a new edition of the Ramón Areces Foundation Research Fellowship, intended to finance a two-year postdoctoral stay in one of the international centers of reference in immunology and infectious diseases.
The call is open to researchers with a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree, or who are in the final year of their doctoral studies, from Spanish higher education institutions. Candidates must demonstrate an outstanding track record in basic and translational research and the ability to conduct collaborative research.
The selected person will develop their project under the supervision of a Ragon Institute researcher, in areas such as HIV/AIDS, COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, vaccine development, cancer and immunology, as well as other related areas.
The grant will cover salary and social benefits for two years. The application must include a curriculum vitae, a statement of scientific objectives (maximum one page) identifying the host laboratory at the Ragon Institute, and a letter of support from the principal investigator of that laboratory.
