Grants for mobility stays for teaching or research staff 2025

This program in foreign higher education and research centers aims to support the international mobility of professors and researchers, for between 3 and 6 months (non-renewable and in a single period).

Modalities:

• Option A: Stays for senior professors and researchers in foreign centers: 400 grants
• Option B: "José Castillejo" mobility stays abroad for young PhDs: 260 grants
• In addition, stays in the USA will be offered in collaboration with the Fulbright Commission: 70 for modality A and 30 for modality B

Requirements:

• Have the title of doctor/aa date:
  • Option A: before 01/01/2014
  • Option B: from 01/01/2014
• To have a civil service or contractual relationship as full-time and active PhDs
  • Option A: to have a tenured civil servant position in the teaching bodies of Spanish public universities, to belong to the research scales of the CSIC or the OPIs, or to have an indefinite contractual relationship, of a teaching or research nature, in university hospitals
  • Option B: having a temporary civil servant/contractual link as teaching or research staff, with a contract end date after the end date of the stay
• Not having spent time abroad for a cumulative period exceeding 6 months during the last 4 years
• The destination country cannot be the same as the beneficiary's country of nationality unless the candidate has been legally resident in Spain for at least 2 years and has an indefinite link with the center
• To integrate into a group at the host center, with one of its members responsible for the applicant's teaching/research activity throughout the stay.

Applications will be submitted through the request link, completing the requested information and attaching the following documentation:

• Project memory
• Photocopy of doctoral degree
• Letter issued by the receiving center
• Certificate from the affiliated organization
• Copy of the contract with the affiliated organization
