6 July 2026The aim of this aid is to increase the presence of science in society, promote scientific and technological culture and encourage citizen participation in research and innovation.
The call will fund science communication and outreach projects aimed at different audiences, as well as annual programs of the Scientific Culture and Innovation Units (UCC+I), citizen science initiatives, activities that promote science and technology education and actions aimed at improving the social communication of science from an inclusive and participatory perspective.
The grants may finance up to 70% of the total project cost, with an advance payment of 60% of the awarded subsidy. The selected projects will be implemented between July 1, 2027, and June 30, 2029, according to the corresponding funding modality.

Information days
In order to present the new features of the call for proposals and answer questions about preparing applications, FECYT will hold two online information sessions:
- July 14, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00
- July 15, 2026, from 15:00 p.m. to 17:00 p.m.
Attendance requires prior registration.
