Augusts 20, 2024Through this call, professionals from a wide variety of disciplines, from medicine to art, who work in the area of brain health and dementia, are given the opportunity to complete their curriculum with a 12-month stay at the University of California or the Trinity College (Dublin). Thanks to this program, those selected will work with more than 260 experts from around 60 countries around the world to improve the brain health of older people and prevent diseases that may threaten it.
Participants are expected to:
- Have a long-term commitment to the values, mission and objectives of the program, including a potential pilot project the year following the grant.
- The ability to complete creative and relevant projects.
- Come up with ideas that can transform the brain healthcare environment in vulnerable communities.
- They have completed a postdoctoral training stage (in the case of being researchers).
Likewise, preference will be given to those people who:
- Have multidisciplinary training.
- Break traditional barriers.
- Be committed to addressing inequalities around brain health.
