Aragón eHealth Open Innovation Summit

Aragón eHealth Open Innovation Summit is the first meet de Open Innovation between digital health startups and companies of the Ebro Valley and will take place on October 24, 2022.

It is a initiative de Init Group through CIEM Zaragoza and the Aragonese Development Institute of the Government of Aragon, organizations that have been promoting ehealth projects for years to improve people's well-being. This inaugural edition features the collaboration de Day One of the Caixa.

El target de Aragón eHealth Open Innovation Summit is promote, make visible and promote open innovation in the field of digital health in the Community of Aragon through the activation and connection of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Ebro Valley with the real opportunities of the mature business sector.

Aragón eHealth Open Innovation Summit is a call aimed at entrepreneurship projects in the field of digital health or that develop technologies applicable to the world of health that have a minimum viable product or that are already marketing their product or service in the market and that have their headquarters in any of the autonomous communities of the Ebro basin. It directs its gaze especially to startups that offer greater opportunities for open innovation in collaboration with ehealth or health tech companies, entities or investment funds.

Just by participating, all the companies, people or entities that have presented their project will be recognized by the jury, they will have the opportunity to connect with those companies that they have selected in the rules of the call and they will have the opportunity to be made visible through different media.

In this first edition of the Aragón eHealth Open Innovation Summit, the following mature companies that are part of the jury:

• Laboral risk prevention: More Prevention
• Risk management: DNV
• Personal autonomy: ONCE Social Group
• Health technology: Ibernex
• Public organization: Exterior Aragon (AREX)

Of all the startups that apply to the call, the jury will select 5 companies that will have the opportunity to present their project at a Demo Day 'ehealth Startup Aragón' in person before the jury and the rest of the attendees. A meeting that will take place on October 24 at 18: 00h at CIEM Zaragoza Within the framework of Aragon Entrepreneurship Week.

La winning company will be recognized with a acceleration process linked to companies in the world of digital health and healthcare, either in person at one of the centers that make up the ARCE network or virtually through Grupo Init.

Subsequently, targeted networking will take place between the startups that have submitted to the call and the companies that are part of the jury.

Natural or legal persons, whose R&D&I projects meet the following conditions, may apply for the Award:

.-A project carried out or in progress in any field of science and technology with an eminently multidisciplinary character.

.-The project must have a clear vocation to reach Society through its transfer to the economic or social environment.

.- The Jury will therefore take into consideration the impact of the project in terms of improving people's quality of life, economic growth, job creation and contribution to the progress of society, particularly Aragonese society.
