The grant program allows research contracts to be extended for 4 years, and up to 6 years in the case of people with disabilities.
The Directorate General for Science and Research, under the Department of Education, Science and Universities, has published the new call for grant applications for the hiring of predoctoral research staff in training up to 2032.
The call, already published in the BOA, finances the hiring of 65 researcherswho carry out research tasks aimed at obtaining a doctoral degree in centers and universities of the Autonomous Community. As a measure to guarantee equal opportunities, one of the grants has been reserved for people with a disability recognized equal to or greater than 33%: in those cases the duration of the contracts, which is established in 4 years in the Making, it can be expanded to 6 years in the Making, To 2032.
This call for proposals adds to the recent efforts of the Department of Education, Science and Universities to promote research quality, after having also resolved the mobility subsidies for the year 2026, equipped with 200.000 Euros for financiate 50 stays of predoctoral researchers in prestigious national and international centers, which facilitates the acquisition of new techniques and scientific exchange.
With this set of aid measures, the Government of Aragon reaffirms its exclusive competence in matters of promoting research and innovation: in fact, there are currently 250 young researchers as part of this program. In the previous callThe 65 beneficiaries have been hired in research centers dependent on the University of Zaragoza, in centers dependent on the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and also in the Aragon Health Research Institute (ISS Aragon).
This line of aid is framed within the III Aragonese Autonomous Plan for Research, Development and Knowledge Transfer 2021-2027 as in the Aragon Research and Innovation Law. The application period will be open from Friday. 19 June through the processor online of the Government of Aragon, codified as the procedure number 11.435.
