The IIS Aragón will be present at the Aspanoa institutional event for Childhood Cancer Day

Diego Sánchez, ARAID at the IIS Aragón and scientific director of the Advanced Therapies Unit of Aragón, will give one of the presentations of the day

Aspanoa organizes this Sunday, February 11, its annual institutional event on the occasion of the next commemoration of the International Childhood Cancer Day. It will be at 11.30:XNUMX a.m. in the Galve room of the Zaragoza Auditorium.

The gala, which will last approximately one and a half hours, serves to give visibility to this disease and demand improvements in care for people who suffer from it.

This year there will be a performance by the magician Carlos Sicilia -regular collaborator of the Association-; a presentation by the researcher Diego Sánchez, ARAID at the IIS Aragón and scientific director of the Advanced Therapies Unit of Aragón; a musical performance by the group Iago and the Forgotten; a presentation of diplomas to volunteers who celebrate their birthday with Aspanoa; as well as an intervention by the children's choir Amici Musicae.

In addition, Aspanoa will deliver to Real Zaragoza his highest distinction, on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Aspanoa party. He will also recognize Carlos Royo, Real Zaragoza veteran, who has participated in the 29 solidarity matches played so far.
