This call for proposals aligns with several key areas of the IIS Aragón Strategic Plan 2023-2027. Specifically, it contributes to Key Area 5, “Services and Talent,” through professional development, career advancement, and generational renewal; and to Key Area 2, “Relationships and Internationalization,” by promoting mobility, scientific collaboration, and bringing research closer to society. It also connects with Key Area 3, “Development of Translational Research,” and Key Area 4, “Consolidation of Innovation,” by promoting research projects and capabilities with translational and transfer potential. Finally, the Patient in Science initiative is particularly relevant to Plan 2.2, which focuses on community engagement, citizen participation, citizen science, and collaboration with social groups and associations.
These actions complement the call for Post-ESF aid and the recruitment of clinical staff published in April 2026
