16 May 2025National research programs in the research areas of HIV, Hemato-Oncology and Oncology medical (solid tumors) , that have an execution period not exceeding 24 months and that they are carried out in Spanish Health Care Centers.

All information must be submitted in English, so that those projects that are presented in a language other than this will not be evaluated.
Non-profit organizations, as well as Health Research Institutes and Public Research Consortiums affiliated with Public Research Organizations in the field of health sciences, are eligible for these training grants. Individuals are not eligible for these grants.
Maximum number of aids to be granted: One project per therapeutic area and per health care center. The health care center will be understood to be the one to which the principal investigator of the project is assigned.
The “12th Call for Gilead Biomedical Research Grants in HIV, Hemato-oncology and Medical Oncology” promoted by GILEAD is endowed with €950.000,00 euros.
- €385.000 for the HIV area (30% will be dedicated exclusively to the prevention modality within the HIV section).
- €110.000 for the Hemato-Oncology area.
- €440.000 for the Medical Oncology area.
The evaluation of the received projects will be carried out by the Carlos III Health Institute, which will act independently and in accordance with the principles of transparency, objectivity, and equal treatment.
